The IT Support hub of this global financial services company was ripe for refurbishment after a series of internal personnel moves created the need for a fresh working environment.
The concept of freshness drove the project from the very beginning so our design team applied fresh thinking our existing product offer to create an original and inventive furniture offer.
The classic Staverton bench and table were merged together by mixing the bench substructures with individual wave tops to create an entirely new system of easily identifiable separate workstations with a minimal framework need.
Floating screens mounted on an aluminum systems track were also developed specifically for this project thus allowing for unique side-to-side separation between workstations.
Individual height adjustability was a prominent and unusual feature of this refurbishment. Seven percent of the desks had to be individually and simply height adjustable for that person alone while not affecting the set-up of their surrounding colleagues.
Staverton’s commitment to the design concept of ‘Product Lifecycle’ enabled us to achieve this objective by using our adjustable leg frame technology to create non- intrusive and simple height flexibility.
The proliferation of wires and connections intrinsic to IT departments meant that the underview of this project mattered as much as the overview.
Clean cable management was assured with Staverton’s unique underdesk beam system and complimented with elegant, high gloss black pedestal storage.
The project was completed with a selection of Humanscale accessories including ergonomic computer arms and seating.
